Tandem Skydive Itinerary
Skydiving is what we call a “hurry up and wait” sport. We wait for good winds, fair temperatures, aircraft, equipment checks and other things. We want your experience to be the best! So please, have plenty of time and no urgent appointments immediately after your visit at Raeford Parachute Center.
Your Tandem Skydive Itinerary:
45 minutes – Show up, Paperwork and Instructional Video.
30 minutes – Instructor Briefing
After the Instructor Brief the Tandem Instructor and students are paired and manifested with our flight control. Once manifested we wait on the call from our Aircraft flight.
A/C flight 20 minute call – You and your instructor will Gear Up
A/C flight 10 minute call – You and your instructor will go to the loading area
A/C flight 5 minute call – Together you board the aircraft for a 15 minute flight to 13,000 feet.
Exit at 13,500 feet and free fall for about 60 seconds to 5,500 feet where the main parachute is deployed.
From 5,500 feet to the ground about a 4 to 5 minute canopy ride
Once you have returned to the school building you will be assisted in removing your
